Late night snack - Texas organic Peaches and local raw milk

After dinner, after dishes, after relaxing, and after getting ready for bed... I realize I feel hungry.  Really?   Now?  I knew I wouldn't sleep without something to eat, so out of bed and into the kitchen to scrounge around for the perfect late night snack.  And I found the perfect combo.  A glass of whole raw milk from the local dairy and a fresh organic peach, grown in Texas.  Ahhh... The peach is so sweet and juicy.  The milk is so creamy and delicious.  It was exactly what I was craving.  Now friends, I can go to sleep.

What do you buy locally?  How do you use it?

    1. I got the peaches last year from the farmer's market in Houston. The vendor's farm was from Texas, close to Austin, but I don't remember the name of the farm now. The farmer's market that I liked most in Houston is located off Richmond every Saturday. Each stand has a sign that lists if they are organic, sustainable, or conventional. awesome, eh?
